“There are enough guys in town that impersonate me that when I’m out on the street nobody thinks it’s really me. Today I was walking up Broadway and a woman said to her husband: ‘Look it’s Barbra Streisand!’ and her husband said: ‘Will you stop it already? That’s the tenth one today, this one’s not even close!’” — Barbra Streisand
What’s wrong with wanting more? If you can fly then soar. With all there is, why settle for just a piece of sky?

Judy & Barbra - Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again (The Judy Garland Show) (by TheManThatGetAway)
I think the only time a lot of Judy fans have ever been offended about something when it comes to Judy is when this was covered on glee. We dislike the show because it takes a lot of the music we love and tries to make it their own but I think the reason a lot of us were offended was because of what the song and moment meant to us.
It’s kind of sacred. It’s a moment when a Legend takes to a new comer with great talent. Judy shows affection and admiration towards Barbra. You can see she appreciates her talent and you can see that Barbra is in awe that she’s going to sing with THE Judy Garland and that she’s kind of nervous. This must have been a huge moment for her. For a lot of us it is the legend sharing a moment with someone who in time will become a legend herself. The magic they create together is incredible and rare. It’s something that a lot of us Judy and Barbra fans are protective of it whether we realize it or not. It’s perfect in every way.
